Rental Agreement & Terms

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between Luz Events ("we", "us") and the person making the booking ("Customer", "you"). By checking the box and paying at checkout, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The rental

We rent you the restroom trailer selected at booking ("Trailer"), together with any add-on equipment you select, for the event date(s) shown in your booking confirmation. The price is per event and includes delivery, setup, pickup, standard supplies and waste tank servicing within our service area. Additional event days are charged as shown at booking. This is a rental only; you do not acquire any ownership of the Trailer.

2. Payment

  1. Reservation deposit. A deposit of 30% of the total is due at booking. Your date is reserved only after the deposit is paid. The deposit is non-refundable, because once your date is reserved we decline other bookings for it.
  2. Saved card and automatic charge. At checkout your card is saved securely by our payment processor, Stripe. You authorize Luz Events to automatically charge the remaining balance (70%) to that card 10 days before the event start date. We send a reminder email about 3 days before that charge. You may pay the balance earlier, or with a different card, from your booking page.
  3. Late bookings. If you book less than 10 days before the event, the full amount is due at booking.
  4. Failed payment. If the automatic charge is declined, we will email you a secure link to pay. If the balance is not paid by 7 days before the event start date, the booking is cancelled automatically, the date is released, and the deposit is not refunded.
  5. Post-event charges. You also authorize us to charge the saved card for charges described in Sections 6 and 7 (damage, excessive cleaning, extra fees), after we send you a written description of the charge.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

  • The 30% deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
  • If you cancel 10 or more days before the event start date, any amount you paid beyond the deposit is refunded to the original card.
  • If you cancel less than 10 days before the event start date, payments are not refunded.
  • You can cancel online at any time from your booking page. Refunds usually appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
  • Date changes are not guaranteed; if you'd like to move your event, contact us and we will move it if the new date is available.

4. Cancellation by Luz Events

If we cannot provide the Trailer for reasons within our control, we will refund all payments in full, including the deposit. If delivery is unsafe or impossible due to severe weather, a declared emergency, road closures or other events beyond our control, we will work with you to reschedule; if rescheduling isn't possible, we will refund amounts paid beyond the deposit. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the booking.

5. Site requirements and delivery

  • You must provide a reasonably level, firm area about 10 × 20 ft, with clear access for our truck, and a standard 110V outlet within 100 ft (a generator can be provided for an added fee if requested in advance).
  • You are responsible for obtaining any permission required from the venue, property owner or HOA to place the Trailer.
  • If we arrive and cannot deliver due to site conditions, incorrect information or lack of access, the booking is considered delivered and payments are not refunded. Additional trips may incur a fee.
  • Delivery is normally the day before the event and pickup the day after, within time windows we confirm with you.

6. Use of the Trailer

  • Only we may move, tow or relocate the Trailer.
  • No smoking, vaping, open flames, pets or illegal activity inside the Trailer.
  • Do not attach decorations with nails, tape or adhesives, or make any alterations, without our written consent.
  • Only toilet paper may be flushed. Wipes, paper towels, feminine products and other objects can cause damage and blockages.
  • You are responsible for the Trailer from delivery until pickup, including actions of your guests, vendors and invitees.
  • Normal light restocking during the event is your responsibility unless you booked an attendant.

Add-on equipment. If you add equipment to your booking (for example patio heaters or fans), it is part of the rental and these terms apply to it as they do to the Trailer. Use it only as instructed by us and by the manufacturer. Propane heaters must be used outdoors only, on level ground, away from tents, decorations, fabrics and other flammable materials, and must never be moved while lit or left unattended. You must follow any rules of your venue and local fire authorities.

7. Inspection, damage and cleaning

We inspect the Trailer at pickup and document its condition with photos. You agree to pay for repair or replacement of damage beyond normal wear, missing items, and cleaning beyond normal use (for example vomit, excessive dirt, clogs caused by improper items, smoke odor), at our reasonable cost. We will send you a written description and photos before charging the card on file.

8. Waste

Waste is held in the Trailer's sealed tank and is removed only by a licensed service provider and disposed of at an approved facility, as required by Florida law. You must not open, drain or dump any tank.

9. Safety and liability

You agree to use the Trailer safely and to supervise its use during your event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Luz Events harmless from claims, injuries or damages arising from the use of the Trailer during the rental period, except to the extent caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for personal items left in the Trailer.

10. Chargebacks

By accepting this Agreement you confirm that you authorized the deposit, the automatic balance charge and any post-event charges described above. Please contact us first about any billing question so we can resolve it quickly.

11. Communications and privacy

We use your contact information only to manage your booking and to send you booking-related emails and texts. Card details are stored by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

12. General

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This Agreement, together with your booking confirmation, is the entire agreement between us regarding the rental.
